Take a look at Mud Runner 2
At the Focus Home Interactive What’s Next event, we had a chance to take a look at Mud Runner 2 from Saber Interactive. Very much of the same style as Farming Simulator (also published by Focus Home), this game concentrates on the life of a professional truck driver in some of the most remote and human-unfriendly areas of the world. What you get to ride are the vehicles especially designed to make it through those harsh territories, such as jeeps and pickup trucks, and even sizeable flatbeds. You will use them to haul goods and services around to locations inaccessible by a regular cargo van.
We could not play a demo at this event, instead, we were simply shown a video presentation where we could see the build they currently had for the game. We got the demonstration of how to navigate through roads mainly covered with dirt and mud, as well as flooded areas, snow-covered territories, and icy areas. We also saw what sorts of different jobs you can choose to take on when you help people out and fulfill contracts. We were also shown the fast-pass version, which becomes available once you’ve done a job a sufficient number of times to make future trips easier. Moreover, we could take a peek at hidden vehicles that you can rescue from being stuck and can then use later for specific tasks. The simulation was interesting enough; however, it felt like we didn’t really see what Mud Runner 2 can do. The game is supposed to come out in 2019, and no more precise details were disclosed at the event.
